SPE Southwest

UPDATE: MEETING TIME: FRIDAY, March 11, 2011 11:00am – 11:45am

Hello Everyone!

I am in the process of putting together the agenda for the southwest regional member’s meeting that will be held during the national SPE conference in Atlanta.

At the top of the list is the announcement of this fall’s regional conference. I feel like it probably will be the emphasis of the meeting and we, the regional officers and the chairs of the fall conference, would like to pick your brains a little about what you liked and/or disliked at previous conferences, so we can make this years regional the best it can be.

Additionally, if there are any general ideas and/or concerns you’d like to be discussed at the meeting and/or you would like me to convey to the national SPE board during my meetings with them, please let me know!

Here is the agenda so far containing some thoughts, some of which were somewhat addressed at last years regional meeting and some that are new, that will discussed at the meeting:

1. 2011 Regional Conference (Announcement: Location, Theme, Call for Presenters, Input?)
2. 2012 Regional Conference (Thoughts?)
3. SPE Southwest Newsletter (Interest, Help)
4. Future Scholarship(s)
5. News from national SPE board

Please let me know about any additions or thoughts you may have via e-mail before the meeting in Atlanta, so we can discuss them there.
